Maeci and Gracie "Give Back A Wish" Fundraiser
~ Hi my name is Gracie and I am now 5. I was diagnosed with a Grade II Oligoastrocytoma brain tumor on February 26 2010 at the age of 3 and had a crainiotomy on March 1st to remove the tumor. They were not able to remove the whole tumor, because it was in the main part of the brain, so now I am doing 82 weeks of chemo at Riley. They are hoping that the chemo will keep it from growing. I will finish chemo on Feb 14th 2012 and then will be monitored with MRI's every 3 months. There is a 90% chance that it will return. We are praying for a miracle!
~ Maeci is 12 and was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on April 19, 2010 after a biopsy of a node from her neck. We spent 8 months going back and forth to Riley Childrens Hospital for many rounds of intense chemo treatments. Most of these treatments lead to many hospital stays with one stay being 18 days. Maeci responded to treatment and after 4 rounds had a clear scan on August 2, 2010. We continued her treatment plan with a lesser dose of chemo for 6 more rounds which she tolerated much better. She had another scan on December 28, 2010 and it was also clear. She is cancer free and will have a scan every 3 months for a year then every 6 months. We thank God every day for her health! Maeci is still CANCER FREE!!!
Gracie and Maeci were able to go to Walt Disney World ® Resorts together thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation ®. It is now their desire to "Give Back A Wish" and raise money so that other deserving children can have their wishes come true too. The girls raised $13,000 last year and granted TWO wishes!!
Let's help these brave little girls. Their goal is to raise $6,000 - the average value of a wish.

Make A Wish
What do you wish for?? This charm is a The Silver Dragonfly exclusive design and features a dandelion with the words "Make A Wish". When you blow the seeds from the dandelion your wish is supposed to come true. Before you place this pendant around your neck, close your eyes, blow the seeds and state your wish.Back of charm can be engraved with your wish if you like, just put that in the special instructions during check-out.
