Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, unpredictable neurological disease that affects the central nervous system. Early symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis include weakness, tingling, numbness, and blurred vision. No one is sure what actually causes MS. Women are twice as likely as men to suffer from MS. There currently is no cure, but treatment can relieve worsening of symptoms.
According to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the condition affects approximately 400,000 Americans.
